Our Story

Starting a business is something that people dream about. It was definitely something that I thought about, dreamt about and prayed on. I always love to learn new things and never settled on being a one trick pony. I always told myself that versatility is the key to unlocking your true, unique self. Starting a business, working a full time job and being a full time mom is definitely NOT an easy task to say the least, but somebody’s got to do it!

Culture Kicks Candles started as an idea in my head that said “I want to start making candles” and it grew into something concrete, something complex and something that I can call my own. I went through names, ideas, research, time, money, effort, tears and anything else you can think of to get this off the ground and I am proud to say that I did just that.

Culture Kicks Candles was built on what I like to do and what I love to collect. That combination alone is what brings me joy and now I can bring that same joy to you, the consumer!
